Ventilation - Air Blast Cowls |
|
When deciding on the installation point for ventilators, careful consideration should be given to how the positioning of the ventilator will influence the passage of air within the room. The draught caused may cause discomfort to the occupants and may lead them to block up the ventilator and prevent its safe operation. However, even when correctly positioned, windy conditions may cause draughts. To minimise this problem, use Stadium Ventilation Air Blast Cowls which reduce air blasts whilst still providing the required free area.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Whenever a cowl is fitted to a ventilator supplying air for a heating unit, a final spillage test must be done to ensure proper combustion and flue operations.
